The major features of Henham which make the village so attractive are the wide greens along the streets and many ponds along the High street amongst cottages with half timbered and thatched roofs.

I remembered my SD card this time so I was able to take some photos. We started the walk from the Church where parts of it date back to the 13th century, and has a neat 'Hertfordshire spike'. On the walk you go right past a mast which is a bit different from a normal one, it looks like it has scaffolding round it from a distance.
At Henham lodge you can see Llamas in the field and also Ostriches but unfortunately there was no Ostriches when we were there. These provide meat for the restaurant kitchen. When we got back to the church we drove back via the back roads which took us past the Stansted runway where you can pull over and see the planes landing and taking off, so out came the camera snap snap.
