There was two walks we done while on holiday Calvia to Santa Ponca and Peguera which was a circular walk. The first walk we got the bus up to Calvia which is a small market town in the hills then we walked back down through the valley beside a dried up river bed which brings you right out to the sea. The second walk we got the bus again this time to Peguera and done a circular walk out to Cape Andritxol. You go past a 16 century watchtower which was one of their coastal defence systems to alert the local inhabitants and navel forces by sending smoke or fire signals. At the edge of the Cape Andritxol there is a drop 180 m straight down to the sea below.
