The walk at The White Hart this was the first walk of the new year and that morning the snow was still hanging around in the shady areas and it was a really cold one as well, but wrapped up well and the walking kept us warm. This walk we did go wrong a couple of times don't ask me why just one of those things as we sometimes are only reading directions from the book and have not got a ordnance survey map with us.When we first went wrong we did not realize until we got to this oak tree where a stile was and we both looked at each other and laughed as we remembered going over this style. about half the walk you follow the Cripsey Brook which flows on to Chipping Ongar where it joins the river Roding.
