This walk is a circular walk from Steeple out to the Blackwater Estuary if you look out over the Creek you can see Osea Island. Sandra picked out the walk and asked if we would like to come with them.

Date of Walk: 14/06/2020
Distance: 4.46 Miles
Car Park: Just outside village hall off Garden Fields CM0 7JYCM0 7JY.
Refreshments: Pubs in Steeple
Well, we decided to meet down there at the start of the walk in the village hall car park, it was a really lovely hot sunny day. We left the car park and turned right onto the main road running through the village until we came to the pub with the footpath to the right of it. The path took us round the back of the village hall and on to a field path. The girls see a few blue butterflies and wanted me to take a photo of them, well that was easier said than done as they did not want to settle for long and the girls thought it was funny watching me trying to get a photo.
We followed the path until we came to the sea wall where we had to turn left along the side of Steeple Creek. When we got to where the path went round the creek we decided to have a break and a picnic and we sat there looking out to Osea Island out in the middle of Blackwater Estuary. We then carried on till we had the caravan park on the left and we kept to the path going round the side of caravan site and into Mayland Creek.
Chloe was getting a bit out of puff and unfortunately, they had forgot to bring her inhaler, so Aaron had to put her on his shoulders. While we had stopped Rudy was getting hot and decided to lay down under a caravan for some shade. Near the end of the creek, we turned left and headed in land going past Hall farm until we reached a road which took us up to the main road. Here we turned left again and walked along the road in the village passing a church called St Lawrence & All Saints. It was not long before we were back at the cars and said our goodbyes.
